Updates seem to work but login screen and desktop very low resolution

two warnings after system update
After a regular system update I got two warnings both concerning dpkg:

unwanted icon on desktop
after some update i saw these 2 new icons (both the same) on my desktop,the one i could delete with right click / delete.
