    [Other] Widgets/Gadgets and Desktop Environment

I've been playing with different desktop environments namely KDE,Mate,LXDE and the woefully bloated Gnome desktop.

I love KDE but I feel it runs sluggish somehow.

LXDE runs well but Its too simplistic for my tastes

Mate is a top little desktop reminds me when Genome was a good desktop env

And as for what Gnome is today it is slower than my grandmother trying to climb the stairs.

With that waffle out of the way I was wondering if it would be possible to install the KDE widgets in say the mate desktop env

Or am I just gunna have to get used to no Gadgets if I completely move away from KDE

My guess is that the "Gadgets" are plugins. So you'll need the context which is KDE Plasma.

I'm not sure what info to provide to be honest if your on about widgets

I use the CPU Load monitor
          RAM monitor
          HDD space usage info
          Network usage
          KDE Connect

Maybe some info on what machine you have KDE and what KDE it is...
CPU Load monitor, RAM monitor, HDD space usage info, Network usage and a lot more you can have in a single conky. This one, for example.
Which would also (the conky) be helpful to diagnose why you have a "sluggish KDE" - an oxymoron if I ever heard one
