Winecfg broken, lost connection to mount manager

I have read the thread and tried everything but still no go! There is prably something glitchy in my install. I am starting to wounder if i need to reinstall kubuntu! It's only been on here a few days. FYI I have posted on that thread in several places Its under my real name Steven Wilson.

Sorry to beat the point some more, but I am positive that running various things using sudo is the heart of your glitches. Only use sudo or kdesudo for admin things that need editing that are outside of your /home. That includes wine. Same for dolphin or kate -use kdesudo for those, and only if you need to edit, rename, or delete something outside of your /home folder. And do be sure that you are positive it is safe to delete something before you do even if it is in your home folder.
