    paint shops???

    what are the available linux paintshops on windows i always use jasc paintshop pro7. can i use this on freespire aswell

    One answer which all should agree with....the GIMP...now version 2 I think....Enable Uni/Multi and user Adept to download...I think you will also get a few hits for addons so just look through what suits you best...it is also well documented on the net

        Of course no. Krita is much easier to use, specially to a photoshop user.

        And krita is installed by default, so you can find it you menu, in the graphics submenu.

        Anyway, if you are new to linux you should probably read this:

        It will explain you what uni and multi are . It will also tell you how do you install software in kubuntu.
