Re: moonrise edits
open a kubuntu logo with gimp , use the eyedropper to get the color. us the free select tool to highlight the are you wish to color, then open the bucket fill to get the color code. copy it. then go to the colorify tool in colors choose custom color and drop code in there and click ok , this will change the color . (note with a project like that do not adjust the brightness and contrast till all the clolrs are done. ) Repeat this step till all three colors are in. THe colorify tool tends to darken things so you will have to play with the brightness and contrast to get the right colors.Originally posted by MoonRiseMe like!!
I like how the Kubuntu blues look here.
What are the settings for those hues?

I found a color pallet at one time on the Artwork Wiki @ ubuntu, but was never sure if those were the exact colors and had to use the Eyedropper even then. Hope that tool is accurateOriginally posted by StarWolfopen a kubuntu logo with gimp , use the eyedropper to get the color. us the free select tool to highlight the are you wish to color, then open the bucket fill to get the color code. copy it. then go to the colorify tool in colors choose custom color and drop code in there and click ok , this will change the color .
