    Plasma screwiness

I know that is not a very specific title. What happens is that every now and then, maybe twice a day, plasma starts screwing up the display. More precisely, the activity background images disappear leavng a black background. The application launcher seems to be invisible along narrow, vertical stripes. In syslog, I see this:

    Code:

    Any thought?

Not that I can add much more to this other than I can confirm similar issues here on multiple Neon systems. I've also seen the occasional plasma crash an restart. It hasn't been too disruptive, but it is noticeable.

Since I installed plasma 6.6, this crash occurs 8-10 times a day. This is beyond annoying, especially since the last time when killing and restarting plasmashell did not suffice and I had to reboot.

It's getting worse. Today, I had to restart to get things going again. Here's what I think the relevant part of syslog.
