    Can I ask why are you using qapt? I don't think it has been part of a neon install for ages, if it ever was.
    My guess is that this old and now dead software is qt5, and doesn't like the updated qt5 bits neon provides over the stock Kubuntu ones.

    Code:
    $ apt policy libkf5configcore5
    libkf5configcore5:
    Installed: 5.116.0-1zneon+24.04+noble+release+build3
    Candidate: 5.116.0-1zneon+24.04+noble+release+build3
    Version table:

      Alternatives?

      I just want to be able to click on a deb package and install it within Dolphin

          Ok, removing qapt put Discover in the list of applications to open a deb file, so thanks. Not sure why it didn't appear before. I don't really use Discover so that hadn't occurred to me.
