[SOLVED] Antone else tried "kio-gdrive" ? Stuck in endless log-in loop

Found a new way to access your google drive - kio-gdrive. It's in the repos. But it's not working here. I've tried to open it several times and it keep endlessly asking me for my gmail password, Specifically;

I attempt to open my gdrive with Dolphin,
a google log in dialog opens to ask for my google account info,
it accepts my input,
it returns to the google log in dialog.

Opening Dolphin from konsole and trying, I get this error:

Trying to convert empty KLocalizedString to QString.

I'm curious if anyone else has tried using this.

Do you have the KWallet enabled ?

Rog, thanks for the hint. I have kwallet installed but it was missing a library. Apparently, KDEneon devs did not want kwallet installed by default, but it is - just without libkf5wallet-bin which allows it to work with QT5 I guess. Installing the lib file and launching kwallmanager allowed me to have a wallet and viola! Thanks again.

I was using it ,,,,but for about 3 weeks or so I get this when trying to access it ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,



launching dolphin from a Konsole I get NO error or other output ,,,,except the initial startup.

Have you checked your path? Mine shows three slashes between gdrive and my email - seemed odd to me:

I just dont get it ,,,,,,"kio" dose my google photos through Gwenview's "export to google photos" ,,,,,,,that should be quite similar.
