That is not a bug when you make something so small it doesn't have space for it contents and they get cut off that is pretty universal for all toolkits. Thanks for filling the bug, but its not a bug it is infact the expected way just about any control will work if you try to make it smaller then its minimumSizeHint (i.e the smallest size it can fit all its contents, padding , spacing and margins).

No, as described, I believe it definitely is a bug. However, it is not particularly serious. Apps should either not draw outside their boundaries or not allow their window to be smaller than they can handle.

Whether it gets fixed or not is a separate issue, but I think it is still a bug.

Filed two more, both related to Discover:
Feature Request: Allow Sort to set default to Name rather than Rating turned out to be a dupe of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401856 and is fixed in 5.14.5
and
Scrolling in Discover should be page-wise which has something to do with Kirigami.

Filed Bug 402641 - Split-view retains title of closed pane.

In KDE neon 5.14.4, opening a second folder using Dolphin's Split and then closing it, seems to retain the title of the closed folder instead of displaying the title of the remaining open folder.

Filed Bug 402641 - Split-view retains title of closed pane.

In KDE neon 5.14.4, opening a second folder using Dolphin's Split and then closing it, seems to retain the title of the closed folder instead of displaying the title of the remaining open folder.

The bug got a mention in This week in Usability & Productivity, part 52 and the fix is slated for Dolphin 18.12.1.

I think issues with kscreen are highly dependent on hardware configuration. Please check bugs.kde.org for kscreen bugs and see if your isssue(s) are reported.

I will when I have a moment. I can say that kscreen still (since 2015 IME) cannot handle multiple monitors well. I have to disable it and build old school xorg work-arounds, which is what I'm doing now.

From what I've read regarding Wayland it handles things better so maybe they're not putting much effort into kscreen.

Really sorry to hear its not been working well for you. I've personally be using Kscreen on a few different machines (all with foss drivers) with up to 4 screens without issue. My laptop is even outputs the correct resolution to the target screen (I often use a 4k and 1080P external). I really think it highly depends on your hardware. KScreen seams to work equally well on both xorg and wayland with the differences being mostly in kwin. What kind of video card and driver are you using in this machine? Have you tried on different hardware? Or with a different video driver (if you can)?
