i really like the new application menu for plasma 5 its looks so much better then the application launcher

Clickable screenshots
Panel is autohide and you can't display an autohide panel and a right-click menu at the same time, so two pictures. The fancy right-click menu was from kde-apps.org and requrired a bit of configurating since there were no instructions for Debian or derivatives and although I have no idea why, library names aren't consistent across distributions. grumble.
Distro is Debian Unstable, theme is a hacked-up conglomeration of about four icon themes, Breeze light and Arezzo for the desktop and panel

Two more (also clickable); Just finished this, which took me awhile because I don't really lua yet
Think I'm done for awhile; the only other thing I really want to work on is scripting ring color changes for high temp or low battery. Decided I liked no wallpaper better than any dark wallpaper I could find.
