System Crashing - Whenever transcoding or optimizing in Plex

I thought I had an SSD over-heating issue - added heat sink - and that helped.

However - I just tried optimizing a video file on plex (which is running on this box) - and the system crashed immediately - no time for anything to heat up.

I guess it could be something to do with Plex causing an issue - but this really feels like some t ype of hardware issue.

Any thoughts/ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Boy, I had to zoom in on that pretty hard to read it

It is easier to just use the "copy details" button, in terms of readability.

    Some base questions:
How was plex installed? in a container (docker) or some other method?
Did you set it up for transcoding if necessary?

What do you mean by system crash? Did it kill everything and you need to reboot or log back into the desktop , or something else?

But yes, it is odd to have any sort of crash, it should just fail to transcode, I'd think, or fall back to software encoding. That is what Jellyfin in a container (podman) does for me.

You may need to look at Plex's logs to see what was going on.
