WIFI not working REDUX

Now I am trying to get my brother's lap top to work. I tried installing the same firmware which doesn't seem to work completely. It see the connection, but says it can't find a suitable device. His uses the Intel Corporation Centrino Wireless - N 1000 BGN. The same flags and latency as mine. What is the name of the firmware package needed please?

I found this: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/...000006507.html so there might be trouble getting it to work. Maybe: https://wireless.wiki.kernel.org/en/...-39.31.5.1.tgz This is only for the 2.6.30+, or 3.2+kernels I believe Yakaty Yak uses the 4.2 or something. Is there a package that includes a newer version of lwlwfi-1000-unicodex.x.x.
