Hi.
I had these same problem a time ago but I can't remember how I solved it. When running Kubuntu 13.04 I can't type accents over vowels (áéíóú) in applications like LibreOffice, NetBeans and QtCreator. If I switch to Ubuntu it works like expected. Other KDE applications (KRunner, Amarok) do not present the problem. I have KDE with the spanish translation. As keyboard distributions I have English and Spanish and I switch between them with Alt+Shift. I don't want to use Ubuntu because I'm really confortable with KDE since 3.x.
The command locale outputs LANG=es_CU, LANGUAGE=es_CU:es.
As I said I solved the problem a time ago but in a certain moment I deleted all hidden files of my home directory and the problem appeared again.
Can anyone help me on this?
