And? Hostname? Something else?Originally posted by DocFlareon View PostI want to setup my machine to foo.bas-info.com
You may need to be a bit more clear or specific as to what you are trying to do.
In any case, this won't be terribly different on Ubuntu/Debian than it is on Slack.Self-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
HP Elitedesk 800 G3 Mini: i5-7500T(35w)/32Gb/Kubuntu LTS
HP Chromebook 14: i5-1135G7/8Gb/512Gb SSD/KDE Linux

And that's it, I want to name the machine foo.bas_info.com The installer does not allow the inclusion "_" in host names.Originally posted by claydoh View Post

You can do it after the install.
The installer (Calamares) seems to be holding to the RFC 1123 spec for domain naming.Self-built: Asus PRIME B550M-K/Ryzen 5600GT/32Gb/Intel ARC B580 12Gb/KDE neon
