Cannot access Files/Folders via Dolphin on login on 2nd HDD

When I login and click a folder on my 2nd HDD I get this message, "An error occurred while accessing 'Home", the system responded: The device is already mounted: Device /dev/sbd2 is already mounted at 'media/angek/Data01'.

The item I am clicking is in the left hand pane of Dolphin under the heading Devices. If I ignore the message and double click the folder I want it works fine. The problem really is that the folder, in this case, Backups, is a Samba share which is not accessible until I go to Dolphin and select the folder, get the error message and double click the folder. After doing this the folder can be accessed from the LAN. This appears to be an bug as I am not attempting to mount the folder/drive, rather just read/write to it.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Make an fstab entry https://askubuntu.com/questions/1571...on-boot#157140

Actually, you are attempting to mount the drive, thus the error. Dolphin is trying to do it, but you're clicking on it and causing the action.

The device is mounted under the media folder because, as Jpenguin is pointing out - you haven't defined a specific mount in fstab so the system auto-mounts it there.

You can either set a shortcut in Dolphin to point to the /media/angek/Data01 folder, or create an fstab entry that mounts is where you want.

Probably this: Bug 391386 - Fake "The device is already mounted" warning - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=391386
It is a double of the Bug 370975 - device notifier pretends it cannot mount usb device while actually mounting it - https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370975

Fixed with the https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=370975#c50 -> Git commit d735708ff11c40ee6b9bee64544250d55067403f.

Thanks gents, thought I had already done that but creating fstab entries did the trick.
