Block Youtube adverts in Falkon?

Anyone know how to block Youtube adverts in Falkon web-browser? Adblock is active and stops a lot of adverts but doesn't work at all for Youtube. I have an adblocker in Firefox which does manage to block all these, but I'm wanting to move to Falkon and this is the only pain point.

Falkon does not seem to have many extensions available, period.

To be honest, I am not sure moving to a slow-moving, hardly-ever-updated web browser is a secure idea, not if you want a full-featured one. The most current version, 3.1, is from 2019.

Or, you can just turn off the telemetry, pockets and sponsor ads in the settings. Then I installed adblock and it works great on YT.
