[Solved]I messed up on the install of Logical Partitions...

    you do not half to point the installer to all your partitions just the ones you want the system to use at default ....../ is the minumum and /home is a + ........... after that the rest of the partitions can be added after the fact as you diside and nead..... and never do you point it at the extended part just the logical partitions in the extended.

    you must of marked the free space as /home or the installer would have put /home in /root.

    shrink it to a more reasonable size and create what your after..... then all remounting/rearanging can be done in Kubuntu after the fact

      Thx again Vinny, I'm struggling with fixing my video out-put, it is a long thread starter but I know I need to be patient for people to get of work or wake up on the other side of the world.
