I've added the backport (ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports) to package manager and did a refresh. All the 4.5 KDE updates are within the blocked update section. How do you get 4.5 to become active?

what errors do you get if you do.

Don't use that kpackage manager stink, use Synaptic instead. (Someone really should make a sticky with this.) Install it like this:Originally posted by pisacksen
