I've added the backport (ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports) to package manager and did a refresh. All the 4.5 KDE updates are within the blocked update section. How do you get 4.5 to become active?

Re: KDE 4.5
Don't use that kpackage manager stink, use Synaptic instead. (Someone really should make a sticky with this.) Install it like this:Originally posted by pisacksenI got blocked updates via kpackage manager. Command line appears to be working. Thanks for the tip.
sudo apt-get install synaptic
Launch Synaptic, then go to Settings > Repositories, and on the "Other Software" tab click on "Add" and enter:
ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
Click on OK, then in the toolbar click on "Reload", "Mark all upgrades" and "Apply".Shinda Sekai Sensen

Kubuntu Maverick RC x64 w/ Kde 4.5.2 (main)
Kubuntu 10.04 x64 w/ Kde 4.5.1to be wiped, no point in keeping it any longer
