using n-vidia setting yet, no other monitors seems plugged even it is ! (running well on vist@ or xp with same gear )

tried Envy G solution but it doesn't seem to work for me

          run
          Code:
          nvidia-settings
Then go to, "X Server Display Configuration"
In it there's a button called "Detect Displays"

When click it, it will detect if you have other displays attached.

          After detection,
Select the correct monitor in the Layout-> go to Configure
          Select the required option(TwinView etc.)
Press OK and it is done!
