I'm sure exactly when this started but when I try to add a photo in a discord post I get an Access Denied, discord does not have permission to access this folder, etc. See image, How do I fix this?

I( will guess you are using the snap version of this?
The people who packaged this purposely iirc have used the sandboxing feature of snaps to keep the app from having unfettered access to your files, seeing as it is not free software.
However, it should have access to normal, unhidden directories, which would include your photos directory.
Is your pictures folder on a different drive/partition, perhaps?
You might look at the permissions for the app in Discover (assuming this is possible on your version of Kubuntu)
Else uninstall what you have, and grab Discord directly from discord themselves. -
As always claydo, you da man! All my data type directories are on a second drive and linked to my HOME folder. I was able to access CONFIGURE PERMISSIONS and changed removable-media and, viola! Thanks again!If you think Education is expensive, try ignorance.
