    A long one, but this Fedora project Silverblue is already taking OS images and using flatpak as the main method for installing and managing software on top of a read-only (I think) base OS






    Now, this may or may not be a useful system for desktop users, but if you can run different distros as containers, instead of just Fedora ones, as easily as it seem to work in the video, it could be a useful alternative for those hardcore tinkerers and multi booters. In the future. Maybe.
