Fax over IP software available for linux ?

    Hi,

I have a VoIP SIP account with a provider, and I would like to send faxes as well.
Is there a linux software that allows you to send faxes over a SIP VoIP account,
either using the T.38 FoIP protocol, or by putting the T.30 traditional fax signals into G.711 RTP packets ?

I saw Hylafax, but it looks like it is a full fledged enterprise class faxserver.
Is there something more simple for Linux ?

Just asked Google and came across this: efax - send/receive faxes with Class 1, 2 or 2.0 fax modem
Using Kubuntu Linux since March 23, 2007

Thx for looking, but efax only seems to work when you have a modem connected to a landline.
I guess I either have to install Hylafax server or get myself a SIP ATA box to connect my printer/scanner/fax and send faxes in that way via my voip account.

Contrary to what was told to you on your post on Ubuntuforums, HylaFAX released version 6.0.7 five months ago. That would imply to me, that it isn't 'dead' and is being maintained.
