    [RESOLVED]keyboard shortcuts

i'm trying to apply a shortcut to switch between open apps on the titlebar , i don't want to use alt+tab or meta+tab (which only seems to switch between open windows, i want to switch between apps), i want to use a single key (like F2) to switch between them
tried to find something in keyboard shortcut settings but not coming right

You (probably) can't cycle between them with one shortcut, but you can open/switch to them individually - look at Plasma Workspace shortcuts -- meta-[number].

You may well need a tool like input-remapper if you want to use some keys without a modifier, maybe, to override any built-in functions on the F-keys, but it may work without.

I second what claydoh says, there is inbuilt utility >system settings >keyboard>shortcuts. If that doesn't cut it d/l Input-remapper. I use espanso with Input-remapper to have one key plus modifier to fill out multiple text snippets.

ya ok it seems impossible to use just one key to toggle through different apps, i'll ma just use META+numbers keys.
        thanks guys

Input-remapper is a thing of beauty. You can do this with it, to bind meta-[thing] to an f-key.

i'll look into it sometime , it's not important. I'm just lazy to move mouse around lol, i always seek shortcuts to make me use mouse less
            thanks !
