    ZFS root support

    Hello guys,

I haven't tried the 26.04 beta and I'll be using it as soon as it comes to release but I was wondering if it's gonna have ZFS root support, since Ubuntu has it, I was wondering if Kubuntu not having is a conscious choice from the dev team or something that has been overlooked... Anyway I think ZFS is a great file system and I would like to be able to use it easily with Kubuntu, is there any informations available on the matter?
Thanks in advance for your answers

Kubuntu has to use the Calamares installer, not the new one Ubuntu created in recent years, which is where the ZFS support is coming from.
So this would need to be all done manually by the user,

Just use btrfs, if you are using a desktop, and not a server. Better Linux support overall, as well as some GUI tools, such as Timeshift (in Ubuntu's repos) and btrfs-assistant+Snapper (also in Ubuntu's repos now)
