[SOLVED] need help with signature

so been trying to make a signature with a picture background but can't seem to get the resolution & file size just right ...
any hints?

My sig image is 400x174, 72 DPI, with a file size of 23 KiB.

I had to fiddle around quite a bit to get to one I could upload. I'm not sure what to actual image restrictions are for the sig.

Including images in ones Signature (when allowed; not all Usergroups are permitted to include images in a Signature) have the following restrictions:

Signature Image Maximum Width (pixels)	500
Signature Image Maximum Height (pixels)	500
Signature Image Maximum File-size (bytes)	10000
