    Internet

I am unable to reach any website. I can't reach kubuntu or YouTube or Google or others. This is in 22.04, using Firefox or chromium. All the lights are on on my modem. The network connection in the system tray shows that my wired ethernet connection is recognized and okay. I have rebooted that router, to no effect. I did a search on my cell phone, no widespread Internet outages are reported. In chromium I did get a message that it couldn't find for example Google's server IP address. And a problem finding a DNS server. Firefox is not giving me very many Diagnostics here. Telling me to try again later check my network connection. I have not turned on a firewall, I do not use antivirus. Very strange. Ideas? I'm trying to post this on using my cell phone and voice typing.

In Firefox I do get the message we are having trouble finding that site, server not found.

I have run some simple ping tests here. It looks like everything is okay on my end. And I just got a message from a neighbor who is on the same DSL system. His internet is also down. So there must be a DNS server in the providers Network that is not working.
