[SOLVED] grey box just appeared on desktop

I have a grey box that has just mysteriously appeared on my desktop. when clicked on I get an error. see attachments

That's the Media Frame Widget. If you put your mouse cursor on it and click and hold, the navigation frame will appear, and you can click on the Trash Can icon to remove it.
