looks like a simpel image will work.

the .gif of this program running I made will not and gets me blocked out ,,,,,,it is a large sized .gif 20MB , but if thats whats doing it the uploader is NOT telling that the image is to large , as it should , and used to .

I'm guessing that's hella-too-large. What about the children ? What about those people in Omaha that are on AOL dial-up?? Have you no feelings??

Animated gifs can be very large. One painful way is to manually reduce the number of frames. rog131 has uploaded some beautiful ones. Here's one: https://www.kubuntuforums.net/showth...12-KRename-KF5

If you use the method described in https://askubuntu.com/a/648604, you can reduce the number of images present in the "frames" folder. That will lead to smaller gifs but these will obviously not be "smooth".

interestingly enough I just noted that the original video is WAY smaller than the .gif I made from it , .mp4 video=445.8KIB , .gif=20MB , WOW

I could not understand that either but I see that as well. The other point, since I don't have a beast of a machine, is that having some, probably non-optimized, animated gifs on screen can be quite CPU-intensive.
