Kup encrypted

Is there a way to encrypt the backups created by Kup? I could not find a password field. Thanks

No, at least no via the GUI.

Bup, the tool that Kup uses, might have such an option, but it would be command-line actions to do so, which would add some work to modify the command Kup is sending to Bup.

Aaaad, it seems like there is nothing built-in to bup for this.

Weird. First make a backup, then put that into an encrypted zip before you can store it somewhere off- or online. Who needs unencrypted backups these days?Thanks though. For me it is back to Duplicity although I liked the possibility of different backup plans in Kup.
