Something kept knocking on my back door

And my UFW kept blocking it. I looked it up and it was a Google IP address. Then it hit me, SlimJet is a clone of Chromium, which explains why it kept asking for the password to my key-ring.

    I purged it.

I'd like to see a thread on UFW configuration.

Yes, I can read the manual...

But what are other people finding, ie. what is knocking on Their backdoor?

For instance, who has a nice, simple way to display the UFW report? Like a widget on my desktop that show the running analysis of pings on my ports.

      Code:
      dmesg | grep "UFW BLOCK"
Once you have the IP address you can use
      Code:
      whois w.x.y.z
      to see who owns it.

Greygeek, that works for me, nothing incoming (yet) and only my outgoing requests.
