I've been using different wallpapers on each desktop since Xandros 1. KDE4 however allows one to have different icons (or widgets) on each desktop, something that KDE3.x could not do, and something that your video demonstrates nicely. I arrange them according to what I actually do on that desktop, with Online (Firefox / Thunderbird / Chrome) on Desktop 1, Word Processing (Kate / LO) on Desktop 2, File Management (Dolphin, Konsole and some shell scripts) on Desktop 3, and so on.
I'm looking forward to the next video installment.
