If I misunderstood your question, I apologize.
I assumed you wanted to install Thunderbird without using snap, so I replied: "Look in the signature lines of Schwarzer Kater, you'll see a link to "install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04 +)""
Schwartzer Kater's signature contains:
Debian KDE & LXQt • Kubuntu & Lubuntu • openSUSE KDE • Windows • macOS X
Desktop: Lenovo ThinkCentre M75s • Laptop: Apple MacBook Pro 13" • and others
get rid of Snap script (20.04 +) • reinstall Snap for release-upgrade script (20.04 +)
install traditional Firefox script (22.04 +) • install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04 +)

There are four links (links are in blue text on this forum) to his specific git pages, one for each of the four helpful scripts he wrote. The last one in the last line of the signature being titled: "install traditional Thunderbird script (24.04 +)"
It seems clear enough to me:
- Click on the above mentioned link in his signature and it opens the gitlab page of the script.
- Click on "Kubuntu_install_traditional_Thunderbird.sh" and it opens the script file for viewing.
- In the title bar of the viewing window on the far right are three icons to either, copy, open, or download the file.
- Click on icon furthest to the right to download and save the file on your computer.
- Update your system.
- Set the script as executable and run it in a terminal using "sudo /path-to-script/Kubuntu_install_traditional_Thunderbird.sh
