    Comparison of html editors?

Looking for a comparison of html editors. Preferably a side by side, but any that lists pros and cons would be fine. I would describe my expertise as medium. I can create a working page with just a text editor but I like the flexibilty of writing code, then seeing it wysiwig without having to open another program. Current pay products are bloated. I'm sure dreamweaver, ms expression, and the like work for some people, but they write sloppy code.

Oh, I bet if you search the forum for "wysiwyg" you should get a number of discussions on them (fairly recent talk, too)

Like claydoh said: search for wysisyg and you'll find a lot of information.
But for me it's not clear if you're looking for a wysiwyg-editor or a html(/css/JavaScript/...)-editor.
A html/etc.-editor is some kind of text editor with (a lot of) special thing to make writing code simplier. For comparing them the links Qqmike gave are very useful.
A wysiwyg-editor is some kind of program that works more or less with things like dropping an image on a certain place, and the program writing the code.
By searching for wysiwyg you'll find a lot of information here on the forum about wysiwyg-editors.
I myself use a html/etc. editor: Komodo Edit (the free version) It's not in the depot, but you can easily install it. It's the best program I ever used. They've an extremely helpful forum where the developers participate in. I've tried quite a lot of programs, and I like Komodo Edit the most.
