posted reply <vs> login

The email arrives:
"A reply has been posted to a topic you are watching by *
View the reply at: http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/index.php?topic=*.*"

I then click on that link and read the post, but in order to respond to it, I have to login, which kicks me all the way back out to the forum root at <http://kubuntuforums.net/forums/> and I then have to navigate all the way back in to find the post I'm trying to respond to.

This is a pain in the butt . . . and not particularly human-friendly
Can it be 'fixed' so that when you login you stay where you are?

I can look into it, but that may be difficult. Is it your personal computer? If so, why don't you check the box that says always logged in? Another idea is to login and then click the link in the email you received. I will see what can be done about the root issue though.
