NO comment ability for contributors [$] in some threads.

I wanted to comment in the Happy Birthday thread in the Anouncement Forum.
It would appear the forum system does not like me?
I hope this is just a glitch.

The Announcement forum is restricted to Forum Administrators and a select 'few' KFN members only.
