A reminder mail about my KFN subscription

Last night I received a reminder my subsriprion is about to run out.
Now I've always been under the impression this is a voluntary thing so I'm a bit puzzled by the last part of this text:
If you do not extend your subscription, access will be removed.
    Regardless, I'm renewing

That's been addressed here before by Snowhog.
Renewals are not automatic (to your credit card or to Paypal).
    Renewals are voluntary.
If you choose not to renew, that's OK--you do not lose access.
If you do renew, you may choose to subscribe at any level--the same, less, or higher.

Is it possible to edit the text of the reminder?

That's a question for Snowhog ... when he wakes up, in that far-away northwest land.

A valid observation. The message has been changed to the following:

          Dear [member name],

Just a friendly note to let you know that your current paid subscription [subscription level title] is about to expire.

Paid Subscriptions remain voluntary and are not set to automatically renew.

Should you desire to renew or change your subscription level, please visit [paid subscriptions page].

          Thank you.
