Ran all the maintenance on the forum this evening. It made no difference. Attempting to get to https://www.kubuntuforums.net was simply NOT working. Hmm. I loaded a previously saved page elsewhere on the forum. Came right up.

Bottom line, I 'fixed' it here. It was simply ensuring that the bookmarked URL to KFN was NOT https://www.kubuntuforums.net, but https://www.kubuntuforums.net/forum.php

Access to the Main Page was it's usual quick affair.

No script, just Developer Tools in Chrome and Firefox.

Which also show that kubuntuforums.net, with no /something, is returning a 303.

When doing tests like this, you have to clear your browser cache each time. Or, better, disable caching completely.

The home page redirects to /content.php under normal circumstances.

Looks like we have some more investigation do to.

Probably not related to the problems, but I'm curious... isn't 303 a strange status code to use? I've not come across it before, I would have expected 301/307/308.
