I'm using Kgrab. I don't see a way to crop the image it gets. What program should I be using?

When you press PrtSc, the KSnapShot window will appear. Here, you can take screenshots of the entire desktop, a window, an arbitrary rectangle, and other shapes. If you install the package kipi-plugins, the Send To button will contain a list of several image sharing sites. You can send a captured image to one of these sites, and then use the link to that here in the forum. I use Imgur.Originally posted by RLynwood View PostI'm using Kgrab. Thanks. That was very helpful. I used kgrab because I thought the pkg mgr described it as being more versatile than ksnapshot, but either I misinterpreted it or it was wrong; it appears that ksnapshot is considerably more versatile than kgrab. I've installed kipi-plugins and will follow your instructions hereafter.

I find ,,,,,(and maby I'm doing it wrong) that the "send to" button in Ksnapshot is misleading in that if you JUST use it from the Ksnapshot window as soon as you take the snapshot it dosent work,,,,,,,,the file/snapshot has not been saved yet so cant be sent.Originally posted by RLynwood View PostThanks.
