    accessibility and kde

Anybody could tell me if it is possible to install kubuntu from scratch for a user with disability (totally blind, zero vision) ?

My friend has a braille keyboard and like to use orca or anything that can do text to speech.

Actually he is able to install from vinux wich is a gnome personnalized cd.
But he is searching for a new desktop or alternatives to seek and I'm helping him.

I have not find much documentation about accessibility at all.
So I'm asking here if anybody is familiar with accessibility and KDE and how does it work with kubuntu ?

Regards and sorry if my question is answered in obscure part of a wiki somewhere,

    Bernard

Not as much available compared to the gnome/orca combo, which has seen more use and development over the years, and though orca is said to work with kde, it won't be as nice

Thanks, I will do my homework and read the kde stuff about accessibility.
