No, I like to get kubuntu as Ubuntu on free CDs.
I dont'n know enybody who got kubuntu yet.

It looks like you may be able to get Kubuntu CDs from shipit for Dapper if they can resolve issues that will get the live CD to be installable.

I don't believe there is a free option for this yet.

I take it that you don't have access to a fast internet connection?

Perhaps you could see if there is anyone else on the list who is in the same city and able to give you a CD.

No, I'm in Ulyanovsk, Russia. And that's why fast internet connection, even if I have access to it, very expensive for ordinary student, which live in Ulyanovsk.

hmm totally off topic, but as someone having a hard time figuring out linux... seeing the linux community helping each other makes me want to "get it" and make it work... seems like the other side of the computing world is *mostly* all about "if ya dont have have the cash, then you dont get to play"... warms the heart really
