    can't install Noise music player

I've been on the hunt for the perfect Linux music player for ages, and after playing with Elementary OS earlier I fell in love with Noise. The problem is, I can't seem to install it on my Kubuntu VM (running 13.04).

    I followed the instructions here:
    http://tecadmin.net/install-noise-mu...yer-in-ubuntu/
After running sudo apt-get update I get the following error:
    Code:
E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.
then when I run sudo apt-get install noise I get "unable to locate package noise". I don't know if the 2 errors are related at all.

Has the package name changed or something?

When you ran the command to add the ppa repository, did you get any errors?

nope. At least, I don't when I run it now. I can't remember if I got any originally.

This is because the latest version of Noise for Saucy failed to build, and there is no previous version (if there was one for 13.04) in the ppa.

Just check https://launchpad.net/~elementary-os...s_filter=saucy daily until the build is reported as successful and then install it.

Or I'm sure it can be built from sources as well if you're feeling adventurous
