Remove Ubuntu 12.04 from Kubuntu 12.04

Yep, I installed Ubuntu 12.04 in with Kubuntu 12.04 and now I want to remove it. Ever since I loaded Ubuntu it takes two or three tries to get Chrome to start up. I tried the autoremove command with no luck. Any ideas?

The steps in Getting Back to a Pure KDE on Ubuntu might work for you, although it's for 11.10.

Yeah, I came across that too, however it did not match up enough to work. Thanks for the suggestion, what I think I'm going to do is wait for the official release of Kubuntu 12.04 and do a fresh install.

      Thanks again.

        abear,

I tried that a while back. Ended up repartitioning Ubuntu in favor of Kubuntu.

Now that Kubuntu 12.04 official release is out I will be cleaning the drive and doing a fresh install.
