    Patch for AMD's Bulldozer FX 8150


    There is someone on his blog claiming that you guys are working on a registry patch for Bulldozer that will increase cpu performance by 40%. I was wondering if this is true or not. I searched for other threads about it but didn't find anything.

    generally speaking this sort of work would be done on the ubuntu side, kubuntu work mainly on packaging and kde stuff, not hardware.

    but you can go on freenode irc in #kubuntu-devel and ask them.

    I highly doubt it, haven't heard of this myself

      Yea this guy talks about aliens, bigfoot, and world war III too so I don't think hes a good source of info...
