So, there is no way to use the KDE theme?

Easiest trick is to use Oxygen-GTK and then select GTK for theming. Looks like any other KDE app.

No, there are some themes you can choose in Skype's settings, the default called "Desktop Settings" is probably the closest to a KDE/Qt look you will get.

Probably because this post is over three and a half years old, the information is likely outdated.

Is the command working on Skype 4.1 or 4.2, because it doesn't works for me :/

Yeah I'm using that.

I just triple-checked that I didn't have a typo or anything in that code in the first post, and it worked just fine for me on 9.10 (Karmic).

Are you using 2.1.0.47? That might be the problem.

Yeah, this doesn't work. It still looks like like KDE3/Plastique.
