Usually, when visiting #kubuntu, I'm there to ask questions (just like this evening). Problems people have are usually far beyond my abilities with command line or anything else. This is especially true as I'm still using 6.06.2 and not 7.04 like everyone else. So this guy was asking why his amsn doesn't work and mentioned his problem. After some attempts, a few links, and a symlink, his amsn was working and was very thankful for my advice. I really didn't do much to help, but at least helped wiht the symlink and to a similar problem on an amsn board.
Either way, he was very thankful and felt good to get it from a perfect stranger. No wonder people hang in the channel and help all the time. The feeling is rewarding.
