About the wubi installer...

Dear all,

I want to try the Herd5 release of Kubuntu because it looks so great.
Recently, I knew about the wubi installer, which can install Kubuntu inside Windows.
But I found that the current release of wubi is a Herd4 release.
Can I use it to install Kubuntu and then do a 'dist-upgrade' to Herd5?

You can definitely install herd 4 and dist-upgrade, you will actually get more up to date than herd5. As to the wubi thing, I would have no idea. Installing herd4 sounds safer with that, but maybe check out this thread, it may have up to date info
