The new Amarok media player has been released for a couple of days now. Any idea when it will hit the repos?

When it's ready
It is already in Feisty, for Edgy they may have to also update another library for the new features, so give them time, its only been a couple of days, and Kubuntu always gets Amarok very quickly after a new release.

Warning to all those with Zen players that want MTP support in the new 1.4.5. release. It is still not available by default in any version, including the source list deb listed above.
If you want MTP support, follow this guide to install both, Amarok 1.4.5 & MTP support. It works in Edgy (not tested in any other release.)
