Can the default yellow highlight for text be changed?

I've seen text highlighted in a different color from the default yellow.
Is it possible to change my default highlight color?

An excellent question. I've made an inquiry to vBMods.rocks about the possibility of modifying our BB Code for highlighting can be done to present a choice of colors. Maybe possible, and if it is, I'll get the code that will accomplish it. Stay tuned!

where did you see other colors highlighted ? on this forum ?
you could use [HL=red]text[/HL] to change highlighted color to whatever you want , but it doesn't work on this forum...
The plain text tag gives the default yellow highlight

I thought I remembered how to do that years ago.

It would come in handy to note code in a sentence. If I wrap the code phrase with code tags, a new line is added making the sentence hard to read. The default yellow highlighting is a little bright.

I learn something new everyday.
That would have been handy in one of my previous posts/replies. Scratch
Maybe that's what I remember.

Colored highlight is a nice to have if possible.
