    Youtube tags don't work

    [MYOUTUBE]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kajlrr5ybpU[/MYOUTUBE]

    Works for me:
Kajlrr5ybpU <<<Using the video Tag (will NOT work)
[MYOUTUBE]Kajlrr5ybpU[/MYOUTUBE] The above uses the YouTube Tag (WORKS)
What's BB code? I've always clicked on the movie strip and used it.

But you aren't using the YouTube BBCode Tag in the Advance Editor which the OP used.

From the URL you pasted between the Tags, use this part only: Kajlrr5ybpU

The YouTube BB Code only uses the video/clip identifier, not the entire URL.

Because you used the Video Tag. I've edited your post #2. Take a look at it (Edit the post and go Advanced)

So why keep the Youtube tag, when the normal video button works with copied youtube urls automagically? ie pops a box to enter the url .

Maybe I misinterpreted what you wrote:

Since I used [ video ] tags I replaced the url I used with Kajlrr5ybpU, which didn't work.

The YouTube specific tag button uses this format, the video tag needs the complete url. Sort of awkward since most people just copy/paste, and might not think to get rid of the chaff not needed with that tag.
